Bill Newkirk–Certified Public Accountant–Bill is the primary shareholder of Newkirk & Associates. Bill purchased the company from his mother in 2016. He takes pride in having a client:accountant relationship and providing the utmost experience for all clients and potential clients. In his free time, you can find him outside with his family tending to their beehives, out at Friends of Canyon Camp, or tinkering in his newly built woodshop. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Susie, and his 3 children. You can find Bill at all 3 offices.

Andrea Meyer is a shareholder of Newkirk and Associates, Inc.
Andrea brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team as a partner at Newkirk & Associates. Andrea graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Communication, as well as a Masters in Accounting Science. Andrea is a licensed CPA with more than 15 years of experience working in public accounting. She prepares personal and business tax returns and preforms audits of governmental entities. Andrea completes continuing education every year including attending the University of Illinois Tax School annually. Andrea is also a member of the Illinois CPA Society. Andrea is located in the Plano office.

Tommy Doody graduated from Aurora University with a Bachelors of Science Degree and a triple major in Accounting, Actuarial Science, and Mathematics in the Spring of 2021. He joined Newkirk & Associates, Inc. full-time shortly thereafter. He previously served two full-time Summer auditing internships with the company in 2019 and 2020. In his free time, he studied for the CPA exam and became licensed in the State of Illinois in September 2023. He serves as a staff accountant and prepares personal and business tax returns in addition to helping audit the financial statements of governmental entities and school districts across Illinois. He attends the University of Illinois Tax School annually and continues to educate himself on new and emerging topics. Tommy is located in our Rochelle office.

Zareen joined Newkirk and Associates, Inc in 2023 as a Senior Accountant. Her primary focus is preparation of personal and business tax returns. Zareen started her career at one of the leading public accounting firms in New York, where she provided services to high net-worth individuals. Zareen then moved on to join a private wealth management firm and gained experience in fiduciary services. She graduated from St John’s University in Queens, New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Outside of work, Zareen volunteers as a Troop leader for her daughter’s girl scouts. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves baking and doing art projects with her kids. Zareen is located in our Warrenville office.

Amanda Szwacz joined Newkirk & Associates, Inc. in 2023. Amanda is located in our Plano office.
Administrative Assistant
Kelley Brummel joined Newkirk & Associates in 2022. Kelley brings with her experience in QuickBooks and bookkeeping for her husband’s trucking business, running her household, and holding the treasurer position at her children’s school. When she is not in the office, you can find her gardening, reading, coloring, or spending time with her family. She also enjoys snowmobiling in the winter and riding the trails in their side by side ATV during the summer months. Kelley is located in our Plano office.

Sadie joined Newkirk & Associates in 2023. She has brought with her experience in scheduling, customer service, and executive administrative duties. Sadie enjoys watching her favorite sports teams, watching her son bowl, and spending time with friends & family. Sadie is located in the Rochelle office.
